Featuring its original silver-white dial and housed in a robust stainless steel C-shape case, this timepiece perfectly captures the clean, understated design language of the era.
This Zenith Surf retains an excellent degree of originality, including its original acrylic crystal, Zenith-signed crown and unpolished case. It is powered by the renowned Zenith Calibre 2572 manual-wind movement, respected for its reliability and robust construction. The watch is presented in a period-style white presentation box featuring the gold ZENITH logo.
The stainless steel case remains in good, unpolished condition, retaining its original factory radial brushed finish with light hairline scratches and surface marks consistent with its age. The original silver-white dial is well preserved, displaying light age-related spotting around the outer edge and honest patina to the original hands. The original domed acrylic crystal shows typical vintage wear, including two more noticeable scratches at approximately the 3 and 7 o'clock positions, together with light age-related hazing and finer hairline marks. These could be significantly improved with a light polish if desired.The hand-wound Calibre 2572 movement winds, sets and functions correctly.
